Transformed
Living in
Christ
Ministering the love of God to bring healing, release and restoration
Welcome
A deeper relationship
with Jesus

"I have come that they might have life and have it in all its fullness"— John 10:10
Are you struggling with anxiety, resentment, rejection, disappointment and guilt? Are you longing to feel peace, hope, joy, confidence and acceptance?
In Romans 12:2, Paul wrote: "Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is."
Transformed Living in Christhelps Christians have a deeper relationship with Jesus, through prayer receive his healing and restoration, setting them free, blessing them, guiding them and restoring them to the abundant life in Christ and to become more effective in their Christian lives.

The Aim of TLC
Healing, forgiveness
& freedom
TLC is a ministry of prayer, enabled by the Holy Spirit, to bring inner healing and wholeness from God to individuals.
It is for Christians who desire to grow in their relationship with God and become more effective in their Christian life and service.
It seeks to bring healing, forgiveness, renewed thinking and freedom through the grace and love of God, through the saving work of Jesus on the Cross.
The Basis of Our Ministry
Jesus came in order to restore our fallen world and make us whole as people. He died on the cross not only to forgive our sins, but also to heal our wounds — emotional as well as physical — to set us free from the habits, addictions, attitudes and negative relationships which control us, and to break the powers of darkness that can have a hold on our lives.
— Psalm 103:2–5
Every human being has a special place in God's creation, conceived in God's image and is of infinite value to him.
Our adult lives are often affected by childhood traumas and by experiences that have come down through our families — and Jesus wants to heal and restore us.
This is a gentle and loving ministry. We ask the Holy Spirit to reveal areas in our lives where he wants us to enter into the forgiveness, healing and restoration that we have in Jesus through the cross. It is non-judgemental and non-directive, with the aim of helping people to become more aware of who they are in Christ and being set free to experience more of his love, power and guidance in their lives.
How It Works
Three pillars of
a ministry day
Participation in all three components is required and takes a whole Saturday from 8:15am to 5pm.
01Group Teaching
Takes about an hour. Inspired and undergirded by God's promises in Psalm 103, it focuses on four areas of brokenness in our lives:
- Wounds or hurts
- Sin
- Bondages
- Enemy control & contrary spirits
02Prayer Ministry Appointment
This is the time for personal ministry and prayer.
- Two Prayer Ministers will pray with you in a private room for about 2–3 hours
- A time to be listened to, under the direction of the Holy Spirit
- To be prayed for, and guided to pray for freedom from your past
- You are expected to recognise your responsibility to work with God in the healing process
Over the years we have seen the Lord pour out his love on those having prayer, setting them free, blessing them, guiding them and restoring them to the abundant life in Christ.
03Prayer Vigil
Each person having a PMA is covered in prayer whilst they are being prayed for. Nothing can happen without God's leading and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
- A place to pray for others
- A place to learn how to hear God more clearly
If you have a PMA in the morning, you will participate in the Prayer Vigil in the afternoon and vice versa.
This is an easy and enjoyable way to grow in confidence in hearing God's voice — non-threatening, surprising and often exhilarating to discover how God speaks through words, pictures, songs or Scripture.
"I have come that you may have life and have it abundantly"
— John 10:10
Prayer Ministers
An interdenominational
network of faith

The prayer ministers form an interdenominational network of Christians from all over Cape Town. They have a calling from God to prayer ministry and their gifting is recognised by their local church and TLC leadership.
Each prayer minister acknowledges God the Father, Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, as one triune God, the saving power of Jesus Christ by his death on the cross and Lordship of the risen Christ in their lives.
The healing process equips you to minister His grace, love and mercy to a hurting world.
Who can become a prayer minister?
Anyone who loves Jesus and has a desire to see others restored may feel a call to TLC Ministry. Training is provided and prayer ministers themselves regularly have ministry. None of us come equipped but we learn to hear the Holy Spirit as we progress. There is no greater blessing than to see someone set free.
